A temporary road closure will be in place on the A52 between Bingham and Barrowby, from Monday, 9th November to Friday, 25th November. This is to enable street lighting maintenance and renewing road markings.
Work will be carried out overnight, between 8pm and 6am.
To ensure the work is carried out safely, the Highways Agency will close the A52 between Bingham and Barrowby and work between Woolsthorpe Lane, Sedgebrook and the A1 at Barrowby.
During closures, a fully signed diversion for both directions via the A46 and A1 in will be in place which has been agreed by the local authority.
During this time, a telecom service will be in place for residents/business requiring access.
Where it’s safe to do so, access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained in emergency situations.
Every effort will be made to ensure the impact on the local community and travelling public is kept to a minimum. The Highways Agency will aim to work to the programme, however unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions may mean changes.
