Temporary Overnight Road Closures – A52 Gamston, the RSPCA junction and Bingham Interchange, 5th January – 8th January 2026

A temporary road closure will be in place on the A52 between Gamston, the RSPCA junction and Bingham Interchange. Work will include inspection and repairs of drainage, lighting, signs, and vegetation clearance.

Work will be carried out overnight, between 8pm and 6am as follows:

  • Gamston Roundabout to RSPCA junction – Monday 5 January 2026 2 nights
    Lane 1 closure in both directions
  • RSPCA junction to Bingham Road – Wednesday 7 January 2026
    Full closure in both directions – diversion via Stragglethorpe Road, A46 Northbound to Bingham Interchange.

  • Bingham Road to Bingham Interchange – Thursday 8 January 2026 2 nights.
    Full closure in both directions– diversion via Bingham Interchange, A46 southbound, Stragglethorpe Road.

Fully signed diversion routes will be in place whilst work is carried out at these locations.

During closures, there will be escorted access for residents of Grantham Road and side roads. Main Street and Bingham Road will remain open allowing access to Carter Lane without escort. There will be no bus service available.

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained throughout.
